Job Summary
Support the Prescription Optimization Program by assisting members with obtaining critical medications and guiding them through complex prescription processes. Act as a personal advocate to help clients access cost-effective options, including patient assistance programs, while serving as the critical link between members, providers, and pharmaceutical companies. Provide triage and care coordination for clients, members, providers, and pharmacies, managing inbound calls to resolve issues with compassion and compliance. Process incoming and outgoing forms, information, and data to deliver patient assistance, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up. Collaborate with internal and external teams to maximize program benefits and maintain a hassle-free experience for all stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in good standing from any U.S. state
- Self-starter with a strong attention to detail
- Solid time management and follow through
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, Salesforce
- Ability to communicate clearly, present complex information to members, clients, pharmacies, and providers
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently, define problems as they arise, and work through them
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills, information gathering, research, alternatives analysis, applying creative solutions to unique and/or immediate issues
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience 1+ years in Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience
- Experience in member support role
- Experience 1+ years of customer service experience and solving customer problems
- Experience in call center-handling inbound calls and making outbound calls
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; if not currently certified, must have the willingness and ability to obtain CPhT certification within 6 months of hire
