Job Summary
Preach the Word of God to edify the congregation and lead the church in evangelism while overseeing teaching ministries alongside the elders. Supervise church staff, maintain ongoing discipleship, and provide counsel, visitation, and funeral services to the community. Officiate weddings as discretion allows and participate in local community activities such as schools and chamber events. Recruit and retain volunteers, develop youth spiritual attributes, and promote cross-generational relationships. Collaborate with the Elder Board to foster unity, maintain continuous open communication, and treat all with love and respect. Maintain confidentiality and participate in an annual performance review. Attend at least one approved conference annually at church expense.
Required Qualifications

- qualify for his office according to the standards of 1 Timothy 3:2-7 and Titus 1:6-9
- experience in and a zeal for the work of pastoral ministry
- ability to work on a team towards specific goals in an edifying and supporting manner

- commitment to the Statement of Faith of Crouch Community Church (Article V of Church Constitution) without reservation

- lead the Church in evangelism
- teach and preach God's Word
- oversee, along with the elders, the teaching ministries of the Church
- supervise the work of the Church staff
- maintain ongoing discipleship with them
- be available to the congregation and the community, for counsel, visitation and funerals
- participate in the community of Crouch/Garden Valley
- attend at least one conference each year at Church expense
- be accountable to the Church Board
- serve as an ex-offico member of all boards and committees of the Church
- be a voting member of the Elders Committee
- be intricately involved in the activities of the Families of the Crouch Community Church Body
- utilize the spiritual gifts of the volunteers who are assisting with this ministry
- oversee all programs and activities such as Sunday School
- oversee all programs and activities such as V.B.S. or other similar activities like a Christmas program
- Promote entire family events and outings
- Participate in non-church community activities with involvement & presence such as Schools
- Participate in non-church community activities with involvement & presence such as Chamber activities
- Participate in non-church community activities with involvement & presence such as Payette Forward
- Participate in non-church community activities with involvement & presence such as Community Library
- Recruit & retain volunteers within the Crouch Community Church body
- Develop the spiritual attributes of the youth
- Promote cross-generational relationships
- Collaborate with the Elder Board to promote unity and growth throughout the entire congregation
- Lead with the Elder Board as an integral part in the spiritual growth of the entire Church
- Maintain open communication with congregation continuously
- Treat all with love, patience, kindness, respect and compassion
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Participate in an annual performance review with Elder Board
