Senior Partnerships Manager

Job Summary
Lead and develop a high-performing team of Partnerships Specialists while driving HCF's national partnerships strategy across major sponsorships like Netball Australia and the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Develop integrated campaigns spanning brand, digital, social, media, events, retail, and internal communications. Build trusted relationships with senior executives, external partners, and agency partners. Lead commercial negotiations, partnership renewals, and governance processes. Identify new opportunities to maximize sponsorship portfolio value. Manage budgets, performance reporting, and partnership evaluation. Champion partnerships across Marketing, Digital, Sales, Legal, Research & Insights, and Member Health. Report to the Brand & Partnerships Lead in a hybrid role.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading and developing teams, including direct people management of 2-3 or more team members
- A strong track record coaching, mentoring and building high-performing, engaged teams
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in sponsorship, partnerships, brand marketing or a related discipline
- Demonstrated success developing and delivering partnership strategies that achieve commercial and brand outcomes
- Strong commercial acumen, including contract negotiation, rights management and budget ownership
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and external partners
- Experience managing multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building and organisational skills
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
