Senior Partner Solution Engineer

Job Summary
Utilize software development expertise to help partners create robust, scalable solutions that deliver Adyen's products to their customers quickly and at high quality. Act as the long-term, trusted technical contact for partners' engineering and product teams, guiding them on platform capabilities and integration best practices. Provide ongoing support for technical inquiries, hands-on assistance during implementation, and lead troubleshooting efforts to ensure timely delivery. Develop a comprehensive understanding of both Adyen's and key partners' product roadmaps to provide strategic architectural recommendations that maximize value for end-customers. Collaborate with internal Product and Engineering stakeholders, advocating for partner needs and influencing Adyen's roadmap to enhance scalability and supportability. This role requires proficiency in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript, 8+ years of API integration experience, and availability to work three days in person in Amsterdam.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL)
- 8+ years experience integrating and/or providing technical consultation when integrating with Web APIs or complex systems
- Proficient in English
- Availability to work 3 days in person in Amsterdam

- Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies, understand complex systems (APIs, databases, SDKs, etc.), and a strong desire to continuously improve technical acumen
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable leading technical discussions and building rapport with engineering leaders and product managers
- Ability to establish and maintain strong, long-term technical relationships with partners
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage technical stakeholders effectively, influence internal roadmaps, and make decisions by collaborating with the right people
