Job Summary

Senior Park Attendant coordinates and delivers day-to-day operational and customer-experience activities across TRCA lands, trails, grounds, and facilities. Responsibilities include on-site support to junior staff, ensuring safe operations, providing site admissions and customer service, guiding and training junior staff, addressing escalated customer concerns, performing semi-skilled maintenance tasks, landscape and grounds upkeep, cleaning functions, hazard identification and safety reporting, participating in daily safety meetings, maintaining knowledge of site programs, processing admissions/payments with POS systems, and supporting varied park operations. Requires High School diploma, Ontario Class G license, Smart Serve certification, and 2+ years of relevant maintenance/grounds experience. Strong communication, safety, and de-escalation skills, with ability to lift up to 20 kg and adapt to flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Valid Ontario Class G driver's license
  • Smart Serve Certification
  • 2+ years of experience in general maintenance and operating power tools and motorized grounds equipment (tractors, ride on mowers)
