Senior Paralegal

Job Summary
Review and respond to legal documents including pleadings, EEOC claims, contracts, and leases. Conduct legal research and analysis of statutes, regulations, and judicial decisions. Monitor and respond to subpoenas and discovery requests while preparing written correspondence with outside counsel. Handle guideline issues involving trusts, leases, stock compensation, and title claims. Edit legal documents for accuracy and provide training to team members. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Assist with licensing issues and regulatory filings. This role supports the Legal/Compliance team on the UWM campus, where home ownership is a core mission.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
- Onsite attendance required
- Have experience performing legal research
- Have knowledge of the litigation and subpoena process
- Have knowledge of the contracting process and standard elements of a contract
Desired Qualifications
- Title or employment law experience is a plus
