Job Summary
Senior Paralegal to support a creditors' rights practice in Texas, focusing on collateral recovery, sequestration, replevin, and post-judgment enforcement. Responsibilities include preparing and filing replevin petitions and writs of sequestration, drafting affidavits and motions, coordinating with constables, sheriffs, process servers, and recovery vendors, managing collateral recovery matters (vehicles, equipment, inventory, secured assets), conducting public-record searches, maintaining litigation calendars across Texas state courts, assisting with discovery, hearings, and trial preparation, and communicating case status and recovery strategies to clients. Requires 5+ years of paralegal experience in creditors' rights/collections, Texas replevin/sequestration filings, familiarity with Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, strong organization, and proficiency with electronic filing systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of paralegal experience in creditors' rights and/or collections
- Experience preparing Texas replevin petitions and sequestration applications and related filings
- Familiarity with Texas Rules of Civil Procedure governing prejudgment remedies and post-judgment collection
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume docket
- Proficiency with electronic filing systems
