Job Summary

Oversee preparation and filing of annual reports and foreign qualifications for Xometry and its subsidiaries across multiple US states. Manage domestic subsidiary matters including formation, dissolution, conversion, governance document drafting, and minute book maintenance. Draft policies for legal and regulatory compliance, monitor and audit activities to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, and support compliance investigations. Assist Privacy, Export/Import, and AI teams while performing legal research and maintaining corporate files electronically. This role focuses on corporate governance and global subsidiary management within Xometry's digital marketplace. You will work with cross-functional business leaders to assess needs aligned with compliance requirements and support the broader legal operations team. Experience leveraging AI-driven tools to streamline legal workflows is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • At least 5-7+ years of paralegal or compliance experience
  • At least 3 years in a corporate environment
  • At least 2-4+ years experience in corporate compliance (privacy, export controls, risk, audit, etc)
  • Experience leveraging AI-driven tools to streamline legal operations, automate routine tasks, and enhance the efficiency of compliance workflows
  • demonstrated ability to utilize AI technology to support legal research
  • Excellent research, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Experience with 'Know Your Customer'-type documentation
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Dependable, reliable and a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable using online search tools, databases and portals
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels of company organization structure including executives and board members
  • Strong experience redlining changes to documents using Word and Adobe
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, DocuSign
  • In-house, public company experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional certifications in compliance including the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Project Management Professional (PMP); Paralegal certificate
