Job Summary
Provide independent professional support for complex corporate, tax, and asset/share purchase transactions by drafting documents, conducting due diligence reviews, and coordinating closing agendas. Review and analyze corporate charter documents, draft share provisions, and prepare checklists while maintaining database integrity and record-keeping systems. Mentor junior and intermediate paralegals, attend organizational meetings to recommend courses of action, and ensure all work meets quality standards within required timeframes. Maintain current knowledge of legislation and government policy to inform stakeholders appropriately.
Required Qualifications
- College Degree/Certificate in Paralegal studies or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate law
- NUANS Completion Certificate
- Bilingualism (French and English)
- This position can be based out of Montreal or Quebec City
