Job Summary
Lead and manage work teams through performance development, coaching, and feedback to achieve organisational objectives. Supervise, train, and mentor inmates in a structured workplace environment to develop practical skills and support work readiness. Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily operations to optimise productivity, efficiency, and commercial performance while ensuring compliance with Workplace Health and Safety standards and Quality Management requirements. Manage budgets and resources effectively to deliver operational outcomes. Promote and maintain a safe and compliant workplace for staff, contractors, inmates, and visitors. The successful candidate receives paid training to undertake a Certificate III in Correctional Practice. Full-time employment includes Monday to Friday shifts from 6am to 2pm.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Certificate III level qualification: Supply Chain Operations, Logistics, Pick and Pack or related process driven trade
- Certificate III Correctional Practice or capacity to complete within specified timeframe
- Current Driver Licence and preparedness to drive as required by role
- Current Forklift Licence or capacity to complete training within specified timeframe to obtain licence
- Experience which demonstrates the ability to meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities as detailed in the role description
- Demonstrated computer proficiency in management systems and programs such as: Pronto, OIMS, EDRMS, Microsoft, Quality Management System, Databases
- Staff management
