Job Summary
Install, configure, harden, and maintain Oracle WebCenter and related middleware environments, addressing and remediating Cyber Security findings. Design, develop, and deploy REST APIs using Spring Boot and Java 17, while building Oracle Portlets with JDeveloper. Manage code repositories via GitHub, conduct peer reviews, and produce functional and technical design documents. Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and lead incident response, defect resolution, and enhancement deployments. Collaborate with DBAs and network engineers to troubleshoot complex system issues and validate functionality through comprehensive test harnesses.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- 7 + years of related experience
- Senior-level experience with Oracle Database
- Senior-level experience with Oracle WebCenter Content
- Senior-level experience with Oracle WebCenter Portal
- Senior-level experience with JDeveloper IDE
- Senior-level experience with Oracle Internet Directory
- Strong hands-on experience in backend Java development using Spring Boot and Java 17
- Demonstrated experience leading or owning deployment, configuration, and optimization activities for Oracle WebCenter 14.x
- Solid working knowledge of Oracle WebCenter 12.x
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle Portlets design and development
- Experience managing compilation, packaging, deployment, and operational builds within JDeveloper IDE
- Practical experience using GitHub for branching strategies, pull requests/code reviews, and release management
- Proven ability to author, review, and maintain technical documentation
- Hands-on experience with JDBC
- Hands-on experience with PL/SQL
- Hands-on experience with ADF
- Hands-on experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with Shell scripting
- Experience leading efforts to identify, analyze, and translate business requirements for WebCenter and related applications
- Experience designing, developing, consuming, and debugging SOAP and REST web services
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Clearance
- Successful completion of a comprehensive government background screening
- Detailed forms and fingerprinting clearance process
