Job Summary
Lead source code reverse engineering across Oracle Forms applications by analysing database objects and mapping relationships between source, database components, and business processes. Review and validate business and system rules extracted using AI-assisted tools while identifying technical risks, dependencies, and areas requiring further investigation. Produce clear technical documentation to support modernisation and transformation activities, working closely with technical teams and project stakeholders throughout delivery. This expression of interest targets a highly experienced engineer with 15+ years in legacy Oracle environments and deep knowledge of complex applications, databases, and business logic.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience working with Oracle Forms
- Strong experience with Oracle Forms 6
- Extensive Oracle 9 and Oracle 11 database engineering experience
- Advanced PL/SQL and database object analysis skills
- Experience in source code reverse engineering and dependency mapping
- The ability to validate complex business and system rules
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
