Job Summary
Senior Oracle DBA to install, upgrade, configure, tune, and patch Oracle 19c technology stack (GRID, RAC, ASM, Clusterware) and Oracle DataGuard; monitor and tune Cloud databases (AWS/OCI) and Oracle EBS; lead security hardening, patching, and tuning practices; ensure high availability and HA/DR; provide architecture and migration support within Linux (Red Hat) environments; manage automation via Linux scripting (SSH/KSH/BASH), SQL/PL-SQL, and cron; interface with cross-functional teams and senior management; support 24/7/365 applications in local data centers and the cloud; manage DBA team and incident tickets in ServiceNow; role involves limited travel with hub-location requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise Oracle environments (12c or higher)
- Expertise in Oracle 19c administration and related tools
- Proven experience implementing Oracle 19c GRID/RAC architecture on RedHat Enterprise Linux
- Proficiency in SSH/KSH/BASH scripting
- Advanced Data Guard expertise (switchover and debugging)
- Experience with cloud environment technologies, preferably AWS, OCI
- Knowledge of Oracle security best practices and patching methodologies
- Strong understanding of Oracle tuning and operational support best practices
- Operations mindset - understanding, implementation, and operation of ITSM at scale
