Job Summary
Senior Oracle APEX Developer to join Savantage Solutions’ core engineering team supporting Altimate, a proprietary Federal Financial Management System, in a fully remote, senior-level production support and development role. You will own end-to-end Oracle APEX application development, PL/SQL packages, and API integrations, diagnose production defects within SLA windows, and contribute to GitLab-based source control and pipeline practices in a federal contractor environment. The role requires deep Oracle APEX and PL/SQL expertise, experience in ATO constraints and SCR-based workflows, and the ability to produce audit-ready technical documentation for government stakeholders. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance or higher are required.
Desired Qualifications
- Technical Depth
- Experience with Oracle APEX 22.x or later including Universal Theme, Faceted Search, and REST Data Sources
- Familiarity with Oracle APEX plug-in development and JavaScript/CSS customization within the APEX framework
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipeline configuration for automated testing or deployment of APEX and PL/SQL objects
- Knowledge of Oracle Database 19c or later features: partitioning, advanced analytics, JSON support, or In-Memory Column Store
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Oracle AI features, or similar) and ability to validate AI-generated SQL output
- Familiarity with federal financial management data structures: appropriations, USSGL chart of accounts, fund balance with Treasury
- Experience with IPAC, GTAS, CARS/GWA, or G-Invoicing transaction processing at the database or application tier
- Knowledge of federal financial system audit requirements and internal control documentation standards (OMB A-123)
- Experience with CMMI Level 3 or ISO 9001 process frameworks in a federal software delivery context
- Federal Financial Domain
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent demonstrable experience)
- Compensation
- $75,000 - $110,000 annually (based on the National Capital Region)
