Job Summary
Provide technical guidance and support to the product team, designing high-level solutions and database tables while developing quality software solutions. Lead junior staff members by facilitating regular professional communication between levels and assisting with complex application or technical problems. Deliver end-to-end SDLC execution, including defining specifications for projects and preparing highly technical programs independently. Handle day-to-day queries from business users and PIT teams, serving as the first line of support or standby when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary IT qualification
- 8+ years experience in PL/SQL or SQL
- Advanced technical knowledge in all areas of the application programming, system design, and update, storage, and retrieval methods
- Ability to liaise with the customer to define specifications on projects
- Ability to do application design
- Ability to lead junior staff members
- Analytical mindset and logical thinker
- Strong mathematical and numerical aptitude
- Ability to play an influential technical role in the team
- PLSQL
- Linux / Autosys
- SVN /GIT
