Job Summary
Lead creative, data-driven traffic engineering design and analysis for multimodal urban streets, including signals, markings, signage, and traffic calming; mentor junior staff; contribute to business development; use tools such as Synchro, Highway Capacity Software, MicroStation, and AutoCAD; apply MUTCD standards across Ohio and beyond to shape safer, more sustainable networks.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineering license in OH
- Proficiency in MicroStation, Synchro, Highway Capacity Software, AutoCAD, SIDRA, and/or VISSIM
- Experience developing conceptual designs for intersections and corridors
- Understanding of MUTCD standards at state and federal level
- 10+ years of experience (Senior Engineer) or 15+ years (Principal Engineer)
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer license in OH
- Experience with MicroStation, Synchro, Highway Capacity Software, AutoCAD, SIDRA, and/or VISSIM
- Mentoring experience
- Business development experience
- PTOE/Complete Streets or related credentials (bonus)
