Job Summary
Operate processing equipment to make up raw materials, transfer, monitor fermentation, harvest, and freeze cultures for Dairy Starter Cultures. Ensure all GMP, SHE, Quality, Food Safety, and HACCP standards are maintained throughout the production process. Report immediately to the Production Supervisor regarding any process deviations or delays. This role requires shift and weekend work as needed, with physical demands including bending, lifting, and repetitive actions. Clean-shaven status is mandatory for PPE compliance. The position supports dsm-firmenich's global mission to impact millions of consumers through health, nutrition, and beauty innovations.
Required Qualifications
- Over 5 years' experience in a Food Manufacturing or related field
- Familiarity with MANUFEX and Lean Manufacturing
- Physically capable of bending, lifting and repetitive actions
- Understanding of HMI and PLCs
- Boiler operator
- Intermediate computer skills i.e. excel, word, power point, etc
- Must be clean-shaven to ensure effective PPE performance and compliance with safety standards
