Job Summary
Set and operate high-tech specialized machinery including bandsaws, planers, and automated equipment to manufacture timber, sheeted, and MDF products while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Account for materials in and out via operating systems and operate Material Handling Equipment to move products between production lines and distribution warehouses. Conduct daily safety checks, risk assessments, and audits, recording findings to escalate issues to Shift Leaders or Managers. Ensure product manufacturing aligns with CAD drawings and company metrics, utilizing problem-solving skills to minimize downtime and assist the engineering team.

- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Strong I.T skills and confidence using technology
- Demonstrate a strong ability to problem solve
- Ability to read and understand data from the sites metrics of Safety, Quality, Availability, Performance and OEE
- Ability to read and follow a running plan
- Hold a keen understanding for Continuous Improvement works
- Ability to account for materials in/out via our operating systems
- Ability to operate a front lift and side lifting MHE's
- Ability to carry out daily safety checks, risk assessments and audits
- Ability to record and escalate findings to the relevant person(s)/departments
- Good understanding of quality standards and how to rectify any issues that may arise
- Quality responsibility in the production environment
- Ability to operate the barcode and label application machines
- Ability to operate MHE to safely move products to and from the production lines
- Ability to manufacture products in line with CAD drawings
- Ability to achieve and exceed the company's performance related metrics
- Ability to keep downtime to a minimum through good setting
- Ability to assist the engineering team when required

- Amount of flexibility will be required, expecting you to assist in different areas of operations when necessary
