Job Summary
Monitor production teams for compliance with Food Safety procedures and regulations, ensuring adherence to customer specifications. Sample products across different lines and perform product seal checks to verify quality standards. Support root cause analysis, implement corrective actions including GMP close-outs, and track improvements to ensure permanent process changes. Conduct product label checks and sign off when required. This role reports to the Department Food Safety & Quality Team Leader within Europe's leading food processing company, Cross Hands.
Required Qualifications
- Understand the importance of compliance with processes and procedures and the impact of these on Food Safety and Quality.
- Maintaining production and quality standards laid down by the business, whilst ensuring that they are fully trained in Lean Manufacturing Practice and Continuous Improvement Processes.
- Have a desire to progress within the business and demonstrate a strong willingness to undertake all training required.
- Possess IT literacy skills.
