Job Summary
Lead operational leadership for the warehouse workforce, supervising driver deliveries, loading/unloading, cross docking, and customer service operations. Manage workforce and equipment scheduling, conduct interviews for hourly associates, and make corrective action decisions up to the written warning level. Ensure compliance with financial policies, safety strategies, and regulatory agencies while minimizing overtime and meeting productivity targets. Review truck runs and daily orders for private fleet opportunities, complete necessary reports, and provide relief coverage when associates are absent. Communicate performance standards, assist in new associate training, and drive continuous improvement efforts to align with customer goals.
Required Qualifications
- First Shift hours availability
- Flexibility around peak season, holiday, short staffed, and business needs
- Ability to work on off shift as needed
- Thorough working knowledge of the site's operating systems
