Job Summary
Senior Operations SME/Operations Analyst Principal at GDIT who will help develop and facilitate the ARSOF Captains Career Course (CCC) culmination event, including refining realistic exercise products and vignettes and role-playing SOF units during exercises. Responsible for mentoring trainees on SOF capabilities, briefing leadership on exercise results, and ensuring exercise scenarios cover Cyber-Space-SOF planning, Multi-Domain Operations (MDO), Special Forces operations, Intelligence, Psychological Operations, Civil Affairs, Logistics, Fires, and Future Operations. Maintains familiarity with Army and Joint doctrine and adheres to the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC); works with former SOF and related specialists to create integrated training experiences and ensure units are prepared for deployment. Typical location is Onsite at Fort Bragg, NC, with travel as required (10-25%). The role requires a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and a Secret clearance, and offers a substantive salary range and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of related military service and contractor experience as an MCIS Instructor/Training Supervisor/Training Manager
- Experience with U.S. Army Special Operations Forces (Special Forces, MOIS, Civil Affairs, Ranger Regiment, SOF aviation, SOJTf) or Military Intelligence, Logistics, or Field Artillery units
- Graduate of U.S. Army Special Forces Qualifying Course (Officer) 18A, Warrant Officer 180A, Noncommissioned Officer 18-series, or equivalent; Senior Service College or related advanced training
- Security Clearance Level: Secret (Required)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to develop, refine, and update exercise products and vignettes
- Experience developing and executing Mission Readiness Exercises (MRXs) or Mission Command systems training (preferred)
- Location: On Customer Site at SOMTC, Fort Bragg, NC
