Job Summary
Process daily operational requests including account onboarding, maintenance, transaction entry, billing, and quarterly reporting. Execute standard, scheduled transactions utilizing established procedures while reconciling reports, exceptions, and validating transactions for daily quality control. Identify process improvement opportunities, communicate with advisors and custodians to resolve discrepancies, and provide documentation for inquiries. Partner with team leadership to prioritize tasks and implement best practices in governance and operational risk. Maintain proficiency in CRM applications and financial software tools.
Required Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. degree, in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in securities operations
- Knowledge of equity securities, fixed income securities, and various other investment vehicles
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Adobe, PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, where the roles and responsibilities are evolving in response to the implementation of new processes and procedures
- Ability to learn other MAI financial software tools and stays abreast of software updates
- Maintains absolute confidentiality of all client information and safeguards client and firm data; maintains high ethical standard in all practices
- Professional and positive demeanor, superb work ethic, high level of personal ethics and integrity
