Job Summary
Balance GLs, process deposit returns and exceptions, and perform daily reconciliation and reporting for deposit accounts. Handle adjustments and research requests related to client transactions, including reviewing legal documentation for levies and garnishments. Administer debit card services and assist clients with online and mobile banking troubleshooting, password resets, and new account ordering. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with banking regulations such as BSA, Regulation CC, and Truth in Savings. Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operations meetings. Requires two years of back-office experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of back-office operations
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Knowledge of Banking Regulations: Electronic Banking (Reg E)
- Knowledge of Banking Regulations: Deposit Regulations (Reg CC, D, DD)
- Knowledge of Banking Regulations: AML/BSA
- Knowledge of Banking Regulations: Expedited Funds Availability – Regulation CC
- Knowledge of Banking Regulations: Red Flags – Identity Theft
- Knowledge of Banking Regulations: Error Resolution – Regulation E
- Knowledge of Banking Regulations: Truth in Savings – Regulation DD
- Knowledge of Banking Regulations: Reserve Requirements for Depository Institutions – Regulation D
- Knowledge of Banking Regulations: Privacy of Consumer Financial Information – Regulation P/GLBA
- Knowledge of Banking Regulations: Prohibition on Funding of Unlawful Internet Gambling – Regulation GG
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with FIS (Horizon), Q2 Online Banking, Fedline Advantage, and wire automation application/tool
