Job Summary
Senior Operations Research Scientist in ECCO's Data & AI tech hub in Copenhagen. Develop, implement and deploy tailor-made optimization-based decision support applications for prescriptive analytics using tools such as OR-Tools, Spark, Gurobi, CPLEX, SCIP. Engage with business area owners to translate challenges into mathematical optimization problems and productionalise solutions from real-time to strategic applications. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in operations research, computer science, software engineering, applied mathematics or related fields
- Master optimisation-based mathematical modelling and solving large-scale optimization formulations
- Strong experience working in Python
- Experience with optimisation solvers such as Gurobi, CPLEX, SCIP or related tools
- Ability to translate diffuse and complex business requirements into functional criteria and actionable tasks
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence technical decisions in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting requests to meet goals
- Strong oral and written communication skills articulating raw insights into plain language for stakeholders
