Job Summary
Senior Operations Manager, Inventory & Receiving at Misfits Market responsible for leading inbound warehouse operations, inventory management, and material flow within the Fulfillment Center. Oversees receiving, inventory control, replenishment, and related warehouse functions; drives cycle counts, audits, root-cause analysis, and KPI tracking to improve accuracy, productivity, and service levels. Leads cross-functional teams across receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, and shipping; partners with Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Distribution to ensure inventory availability and aligned execution. Focused on safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of processes in a fast-paced food-based environment; builds high-performing teams and develops leadership capability. Relevant qualifications include expertise in WMS, regulatory requirements for food manufacturing and distribution, and a track record of process improvements and data-driven decision making.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership experience in warehouse or logistics operations
- Experience with receiving, inventory control, and cycle counting
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Knowledge of food industry regulatory requirements (OSHA, FDA, GMP, HACCP, FSSC)
- Ability to lead large teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and implement inventory management strategies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
