Job Summary
Senior Operations Coordinator responsible for providing administrative support to the Program Operations team, handling tasks across contracts, procurement, financials, reporting, IT coordination, office management, and staff onboarding. The role involves ensuring compliance with funder requirements and internal policies, coordinating logistics for meetings, maintaining electronic files, supporting HR processes, maintaining office space, and collaborating with Finance, Legal, HR, and Accounts Payable. The position emphasizes equity and inclusion and requires strong organizational skills, detail-orientation, proactive task management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel is occasional (approximately 2-3 times per year). Location options include Annapolis, MD or Denver, CO with a hybrid work setup.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, finance) plus two additional years of experience coordinating operations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once to meet deadlines, working both in a team environment and independently
- Able to exercise independent judgment after the initial onboarding period
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Ability to contribute to the diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives set forth by the National Wildlife Federation
