Job Summary
Senior Operations Consultant - Data Analyst at Bank of America focused on delivering advanced Excel-based dashboards and analytical tools to support operational decision-making. Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data models; automating processes with macros and VBA; performing detailed data validation and root-cause analysis; partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting that supports strategic and operational priorities. Builds intuitive dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations, champions data quality, and supports system conversions and governance across CI&DM. Requires strong mathematical/analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Excel proficiency with complex formulas (e.g., FILTER/COUNTIFS/SUMIFS/XLOOKUP)
- VBA programming for automated tools
- Experience building dashboards and data visualizations
- Experience with large datasets and operational reporting
- Ability to translate requirements to technical solutions and communicate with non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of data validation, reconciliation, and data quality oversight
- Preferred knowledge of SQL, SharePoint, Tableau, Alteryx
- Background in operations, risk, financial services, or data governance environments
