Senior Operational Risk Analyst

Senior Operational Risk Analyst role delivering coordination, monitoring, and delivery of operational risk processes, projects, and reporting across Aberdeen Investments with APAC coverage. Responsibilities include partnering with first line to manage risk events and issues, mapping end-to-end processes, identifying key risks and control gaps, conducting root cause analyses, contributing to thematic reviews, producing high-quality operational risk reporting and insights, and supporting the design and implementation of sustainable BAU controls. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with data management and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), and the ability to work with regional stakeholders to ensure risks are identified, assessed, and managed in line with global standards. Proactive learner with collaborative, cross-functional mindset and comfort with regulated environments in financial services.
