Job Summary
Senior OpenShift Systems Administrator / DevOps Engineer to administer OpenShift clusters, deploy and optimize containerized applications with Kubernetes/OpenShift, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and develop IaC solutions (Terraform, Ansible). Will support cloud-native applications, RMF/STIG compliance, monitoring/logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Splunk), and collaboration with cybersecurity, cloud engineers, and software teams on enterprise Linux environments (RHEL/CentOS) across DoD-related systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Active Secret Security Clearance (Preferred) or ability to obtain/maintain
- Security+ CE certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- 4-10 years of experience administering enterprise Linux environments
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift
- Experience deploying and managing containerized workloads in production
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting
- Git-based source control and DevOps workflows
- Experience supporting cloud or hybrid-cloud environments
- Red Hat OpenShift Administration certification (preferred)
- RHCSA/RHCE (preferred)
- Experience supporting Department of Defense environments (preferred)
- Experience with AWS, Azure Government, OpenStack, or other cloud platforms (preferred)
- Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi (preferred)
- Experience supporting AI/ML platforms (preferred)
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and security automation (preferred)
- Experience supporting RMF-accredited systems (preferred)
