Job Summary
Senior-level sales role focused on developing and managing onion/potato category revenue across North America, including retail, wholesale, food service, and processing accounts. Responsibilities include developing and managing new sales accounts, maintaining sales targets and category growth, effective account management with volume/pricing/forecasting/reporting, collaborating on pricing, leveraging sourcing contacts for year-round supply, and aiming to reach $10MM in annual sales in the first year (or plan to achieve it within 2-3 years). Requires experience in onion sales across multiple channels, familiarity with FOB and program sales, and occasional travel (20-30%). Remote option available for qualified candidates in the US; base salary in the $100k-$130k range with bonus and full benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Previous successful onion sales experience
- Sales background in some or all account segments (retail, wholesale, food service or processors)
- Experience in both F.O.B and Program sales
- Occasional travel (20% - 30%) to visit customers, trade shows/industry events, and possibly to production areas to promote the company
