Job Summary
Lead the development and implementation of strategies utilizing research, convening, and policy engagement tools to inform Philadelphia policymakers, with a focus on local economic advancement, affordable housing, and pathways to middle-wage jobs through coordinated regional action. Responsibilities include designing research and policy translation products, developing presentations and leave-behind materials, organizing public and official briefings and invitational convenings, synthesizing findings across PRPI products, building peer city learning networks, and collaborating with communications and government relations teams to broad public engagement. The role requires strong written and oral communication, ability to manage relationships with policymakers, nonprofit and civic stakeholders, and oversight of vendor/contractor relationships; travel and hybrid work arrangements are expected. Proficiency with data analysis, policy reporting, and Salesforce CRM is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Advanced degree preferred
