Senior Office Engineer in Los Angeles leading coordination of project delivery for education facilities, including planning, budget maintenance, scheduling, labor compliance, change orders, and close-out activities; will review plans and proposals, prepare cost estimates, manage contractor payments, conduct site walks, monitor schedules and constructability; requires BIM proficiency, LEED/CHPS experience, DSA process familiarity, strong stakeholder communication, and a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management with eight years of relevant experience; salary range $84,400–$112,533.35 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
- Eight (8) years full time paid professional experience in project/construction management of commercial/public/educational facility construction with values > $15M
- Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Experience with LEED certified projects and/or CHPS
- Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design process
- Ability to communicate with various stakeholders, internal and external to the company
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Accountability to individual and team goals
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
- Sound judgement and logical decision making
