Job Summary
Senior ODS Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle Database-based solutions with strong SQL/PLSQL development, UNIX scripting, and automation. Collaborate with global teams, participate in design reviews, lead components or projects, and ensure high-quality delivery. Key duties include building and optimizing PL/SQL packages and queries, developing UNIX shell scripts and automation tools (Perl, Python, or Jython), working with DevOps for version control and deployment (GitLab/SVN), using Jira for project tracking, and conducting unit, regression, and stress testing. The role emphasizes architectural consistency, performance optimization, and effective cross-functional communication within a Middletier team.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of IT experience
- Extensive hands-on work in Oracle Database environments
- Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL
- UNIX shell scripting
- Experience with GitLab and/or SVN
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience using Jira for project management
- UTPLSQL
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to lead tasks or projects
- Knowledge of Oracle architecture and AQ queues
