Job Summary
Lead mid- to large-size rail projects by applying expertise in rail design, operations, and construction to overhead catenary systems, traction power substations, signals, communications, and track layout. Develop layout drawings, profiles, hanger tabulations, erection diagrams, and technical specifications while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Serve as the primary engineer for these signature transit agency projects. This role requires a BA/BS in Civil or Electrical Engineering with ten years of experience in railway systems. Relocation is an option, and sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Civil or Electrical Engineering
- ten years of related experience in railway systems (Overhead Catenary Systems/Traction Power/Track)
- demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- eligibility to work in the United States
- in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
