Job Summary
Execute end-to-end air shipments by coordinating with airlines, trucking partners, and terminals to arrange bookings within SOPs. Input data to create MAWB and HAWB files, ensuring timely AMS or EDI submissions, and manage timely invoicing for clients and subcontractors. Provide customer service by following up on advice, requests, claims, and feedback while ensuring all activities comply with international shipping regulations and company policies. Handle customer statistics, reports, and special system improvement requests, and collaborate with account managers and customs teams to drive process enhancements. Inform senior management of irregularities and support teammates with additional tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related fields
- 1-2 years of experience in air operation or related roles in freight forwarding/logistics
- Fluent in Japanese
- Good written and spoken communication (Japanese)
- Good written and spoken communication (English)
- Detail-oriented
- Structured

- Flexible and open to work on weekends
