Senior Occupational Therapist

Senior Occupational Therapist to provide senior clinical occupational therapy services within a brand-new private hospital setting. Responsible for comprehensive patient assessments (ADLs, home environment, cognitive and functional assessments), delivering treatment interventions aligned to functional goals, developing evaluation processes for inpatient/outpatient OT programs, supervising students and mentoring junior staff, and contributing to teaching, training, research and quality activities. Requires independent professional judgment, evidence-based practice, and the ability to liaise with multidisciplinary teams, administration, and external agencies; demonstrates senior leadership and ability to supervise and mentor staff while maintaining patient-focused care. The role is part-time (0.5 FTE) at Midland Private Hospital, Western Australia, with a salary range of AUD 130,917 to 139,591 (pro rata for part time) and additional benefits.
