Job Summary
Senior Occupational Therapist needed to help establish and grow a brand-new private hospital in Midland. Join a multidisciplinary team to deliver senior-level Occupational Therapy services, supervise students and mentor junior staff, and lead clinical practice, teaching, and quality activities. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments (ADLs, home environment, cognitive and functional assessments), developing treatment plans aligned with functional goals, contributing to program evaluation for inpatient and outpatient OT services, collaborating with the supervisor/manager, and providing written/verbal reports. Requires independent professional judgment, strong communication, ongoing adherence to Occupational Therapy Australia Code of Ethics, and registration with AHPRA. Salary offered for part-time (0.5 FTE) with benefits; pro rata terms apply.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Senior clinical experience and leadership in a specialised area of clinical practice
- Ability to undertake professional supervision or mentor junior staff
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and quality improvement
