Job Summary
Manage a diverse caseload of people with disabilities and their families, conducting comprehensive assessments and developing intervention programs. Provide specialist services in seating, positioning, mobility, transport safety, manual handling, environmental modifications, and self-care needs. Deliver clinical leadership, supervision, and support to allied health staff and students while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Contribute to strategic planning and organizational growth within the Allied Health team, representing the group in internal and external forums to build disability networks. Requires a recognised degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration and minimum three years experience working with complex needs.
Required Qualifications
- Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy
- current AHPRA Registration
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current NSW Driver's Licence
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Minimum 3 years experience working with people with disabilities with complex needs
- Experience with specialised intervention strategies including equipment prescription and environmental modifications
- Proven experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong understanding of NDIS implementation, reviews and requirements
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
- Experience providing clinical supervision and leadership to other therapists
