Job Summary
Senior Occupational Therapist needed to join the Adult Services – Occupational Therapy & Specialist Assessment Team. Responsibilities include completing holistic OT assessments for adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments and learning disabilities; recommending equipment, adaptations and intervention plans to promote safe, independent living; supporting multidisciplinary working with social workers and therapy staff; maintaining high-quality documentation, risk assessments and clinical reasoning.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in adult social care or a similar community-based OT setting
- Strong assessment skills and confident clinical decision-making
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
- Clear communication skills and a commitment to person-centred, strengths-based practice
