Job Summary
Deliver recovery-focused occupational therapy through assessment, intervention, and group programs while supporting women's functional recovery in a secure forensic environment. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to contribute to service development, complete high-quality clinical documentation, and provide supervision within the Dame Phylis Frost Centre's custodial mental health service. This full-time fixed-term role commences with flexible hours between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM and includes an on-call rotation. Applications are reviewed as they are received, with interviews scheduled accordingly.
Required Qualifications
- A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
- AHPRA registration
- 5+ years' experience in mental health or a related field
- Strong skills in occupational assessment, formulation and evidence‐based intervention
- Experience or understanding of secure or forensic environments
- Approved degree in Occupational Therapy recognised for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia – Australian Association of Occupational Therapists
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA)
- Influenza and Immunisation Evidence
- Subject to a Police Check
