Job Summary
Senior Occupational Therapist leading OT services across Reablement, Front Door, Discharge and Community OT with clinical leadership and supervision of the MDT. Responsibilities include screening, prioritising and allocating referrals; managing a small complex caseload; authorising equipment and major adaptations (DFG); contributing to statutory duties under Care Act and Mental Capacity Act; driving service development, audits and continuous improvement; working across Reablement, Front Door/Integrated Urgent Response, Hospital Discharge pathways and Community OT services; promoting strengths-based, person-centred practice; and collaborating with NHS, housing and community partners. Hybrid working arrangement: 2 days remote, 3 days in office/service-based. Benefits include a rate of £37.46 per hour and extensive leadership exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC Registration
- Strong experience within Adults Social Care
- Proven experience as a Senior OT or in a leadership capacity
- Experience with DFG / Major adaptations
- Complex case management
- Supervision and team support
