Job Summary
Senior Occupational Therapist to lead and supervise a team within Adult Social Care in Hull. You will oversee a team of Occupational Therapists and OT Assistants, allocate cases, monitor performance, and support complex casework, working collaboratively across adult social care and housing partners to ensure timely interventions. Leadership responsibilities include supervising and mentoring staff (including newly qualified and returning practitioners), leading complex assessments and reviews under the Care Act 2014, supporting See and Solve community staff, ensuring appropriate deployment of OT resources, promoting trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and inclusive practice, facilitating joint assessments with housing teams for home adaptations, and contributing to safeguarding reviews, case conferences, and best interest decisions. HCPC registration is required and a willingness to work in-office at least 2 days/week (ideally 3–4). Benefits include referral bonuses and access to exclusive roles and CPD resources.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC registration
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Supervision experience within adult social care
