Job Summary

Senior NDT Engineer responsible for performing and supervising non-destructive testing across multiple methods (radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, penetrant) to support aerospace/missile hardware. Must certify to NAS 410 Level 2 in multiple methods, communicate results through engineering reports, and travel up to 50% to support onsite inspections and offsite evaluations. Role includes collaboration with engineers, handling tests on aerospace components (castings, welds, composites, microcircuits), and working onsite in Tucson, AZ with potential for 2nd shift. On-site position requiring US citizenship and active security clearance; salary range 86,800–165,200 USD; benefits offered.

Required Qualifications

  • University Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience or Advanced Degree with 3+ years
  • NAS 410 Level 2 Certification (or equivalent) in multiple methods (Ultrasonic, Radiography, Magnetic Particle and Fluorescent Penetrant)
  • Experience with Digital Radiography and Film Radiography; Ultrasonic Testing techniques (Contact/Immersion/CSAM)
  • Strong documentation and communication skills; able to produce engineering reports
  • Ability to work onsite in Tucson, AZ; travel up to 50%
  • Experience in Non-Destructive Testing of Aerospace products (composites, castings, welds, braze joints, microcircuits)
  • Knowledge of ASTM/AMS/ASTM standards listed in description
