Job Summary
Senior Non-Key Expert – IT Audit to update OFAG IT Audit Manual and Working Papers, develop dissemination workshop materials, and deliver classroom trainings (Version 2026). Activities include inception and workplan development, gap analysis review, updating IT Audit Manual and Working Papers, delivering a dissemination workshop for senior management, developing two training modules, and conducting two one-week classroom training sessions across Addis Ababa with a total of 40 participants. Requires extensive experience in IT audit standards, policy/procedures development, capacity building, and ability to train government staff. Main duty station in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; in-country and remote components over 62 working days.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced IT/Accounting/Audit degree
- Professional Accounting qualification (IFAC member bodies)
- Professional Certifications (CISA/CISSP/MCSE/CDCMP) highly preferred
- 15+ years in IT audit
- 12+ years IT audit in SAIs or similar
- PFM reforms understanding
- English reporting and presentation skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Office
