Job Summary
Develop and enhance Node.js services supporting vulnerability management and remediation workflows by building secure, scalable APIs and automation for scanning, reporting, and patching processes. Partner with security, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to triage and resolve high-risk vulnerabilities while implementing secure coding standards, conducting code reviews, and driving best practices. Optimize system performance, reliability, and monitoring in cloud environments, and produce technical documentation to support cross-functional teams during incident response. Requires 6–10+ years of backend development experience with deep Node.js expertise, strong security fundamentals, and cloud environment proficiency. Preferred healthcare industry experience and DevSecOps exposure.
Required Qualifications
- 6–10+ years of backend development experience with deep expertise in Node.js
- Strong knowledge of security fundamentals, vulnerability management, and API security
- Experience integrating with scanners, SIEM, or security platforms (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Splunk)
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Solid understanding of microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD, and containerization
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Healthcare industry experience (HIPAA, PHI handling, secure healthcare workflows)
- Exposure to DevSecOps and automated security pipelines
