Job Summary
Conduct nightly audits of the POS and system to reconcile financial transactions, verifying Bills of Transfer, Kitchen Order Tickets, and manual billing points for accuracy. Prepare detailed Daily and Sales Reports summarizing key financial data while investigating discrepancies and collaborating with departments to resolve billing issues. Update control and continuity sheets for all related documents, ensuring rates align with approved price lists and discounts follow policy. Train junior team members on audit protocols and best practices, then communicate findings and process improvement recommendations to management.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar financial audit role within the hospitality industry
- In-depth knowledge of billing procedures and financial controls
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with point of sales (POS) systems and financial software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
