Job Summary
Set the editorial direction and daily content calendar for Celebrity Homes, Unique Homes, and Living verticals. Manage a team of writers, provide strategic planning, idea generation, copy editing, and direct writing support. Track down exclusive celebrity real estate stories, balance quick-turn stories with bigger editorial swings, and launch recurring content franchises to maintain distinct section identities. Use internal analytics to shape editorial choices and partner with cross-functional teams to maximize audience reach. This role reports directly to the VP of Editorial and Content.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years' experience managing digital editorial content
- 2+ years managing people
- Strong communication skills
- Experience leading or mentoring a team of writers
- Sharp instincts for spotting exclusive or high-interest stories before competitors do
- Solid track record of overseeing articles from ideation through to hitting the publish button
- Strong multitasking skills
- Familiarity with content management systems
- Bachelor's degree
