Job Summary
Senior clinical role leading the adult neurodevelopmental assessment pathway. Responsibilities include conducting complex adult neurodevelopmental assessments (autism, ADHD), providing clinical leadership and supervision to practitioners and non-clinical staff, maintaining high standards of clinical practice in line with NICE guidelines, contributing to clinical governance and service improvement, producing high-quality reports, and collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure person-centred, neuroaffirming care across the service. The role requires robust clinical formulation, risk/safeguarding management, and the ability to travel to Oakdale sites as needed. The post demands excellent written communication, leadership in a multidisciplinary team, and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Professional qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Clinical / Forensic Psychology, Psychiatry, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or similar)
- Current registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. HCPC, GMC, NMC)
- Significant experience conducting adult neurodevelopmental assessments in a multidisciplinary team (e.g. autism, ADHD)
