Job Summary
Senior Network & Systems Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based environments across global offices with a focus on AWS/Azure cloud networking, Azure governance, and identity security. Lead administration of Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access policies, and hybrid networking architectures; manage Windows and Linux servers; oversee BC/DR planning using Azure services; administer Exchange Online and Microsoft 365; automate operations with PowerShell, Bash, and Python; and provide Tier 3 escalation for complex infrastructure issues. Position emphasizes multi-site network connectivity, cloud-to-on-prem integration, security governance, and infrastructure automation.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in Systems/Network Engineering
- Experience with Cisco Meraki stack
- HA WAN environments
- physical Wi-Fi troubleshooting
- AWS cloud networking architectures
- Azure cloud networking
- Microsoft Entra ID and Conditional Access
- Identity governance in a pure-cloud identity environment
- Azure Update Manager for patch management
- Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
- Ability to define and meet RTO/RPO metrics
- Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, and Python
- Advanced knowledge of Exchange Online, mail flow management, and email security protocols (DKIM, DMARC, SPF)
