Job Summary
Lead pre-sales engagements by designing scalable, secure network architectures using Cisco and Juniper platforms for enterprise clients. Conduct discovery sessions, whiteboard solutions, and present executive-level recommendations to translate business challenges into technical strategies. Collaborate with account managers and delivery teams to develop proposals, BOMs, and SOWs while documenting HLDs and solution briefs. Participate in RFP responses, competitive analyses, and technical validation of proposed designs across data center, campus, and WAN environments. Act as a trusted advisor to build long-term relationships and identify security risks for remediation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be based in the United States
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise networking roles
- at least 2 years in a customer-facing pre-sales or solution architect capacity
- Deep technical expertise in Cisco and Juniper network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls)
- Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP, VLANs, VRFs), QoS, NAT, ACLs
- Ability to lead technical discussions with engineers and executives alike
- Experience designing or consulting on data center, WAN, or secure remote access solutions
- Skilled at creating architecture diagrams, proposal documentation, and technical presentations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications: CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise/Data Center), JNCIP/JNCIE
- Familiarity with SD-WAN, EVPN-VXLAN, MPLS, or cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with network automation (e.g., Ansible, Python)
- Exposure to NAC, 802.1X, RADIUS, and hybrid networking environments
